Calculating agitator pump height
We recently determined the delivery height of a side-entry agitator for one of our customers. This customer applies the agitator as a pump in flower bulb and onion washers. The agitator is mounted on a tank where the stirring element (in this case a marine propeller) is placed in the discharge tube. With the aid of our agitator calculation program and with the aid of a simulation from our fluid dynamics program, our Agitator engineering department has determined the delivery height for our customer.
Our engineering departement regularly uses the fluid dynamics program FloEFD to optimize mixing processes and to determine mixing times.
