The Modul loading spouts from Veenstra Technology

The Veenstra Modul® loading spouts are designed for a wide range of industries, including cement, petrochemicals, food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and many other sectors that handle bulk materials. By using a standard configuration, we are able to offer high-quality loading spouts at a competitive price. In addition, we specialize in custom solutions, for instance, for the controlled loading of powders, pellets, granulates, and grains. Our years of experience, dating back to 1977, allow us to provide the right solution for every process.

Operation of the Loading Spouts

A loading spout ensures that bulk goods are loaded in a controlled and dust-free manner into a container or vehicle, making it ideal for loading dust-sensitive materials. The product flow is centered at the top of the bellow and then evenly distributed via the bellow’s lower structure. Optional conical stainless steel cups assist with centering the goods and minimizing dust formation. The loading spout is suitable for ship loading, tank trucks with manholes, open trucks, and containers, making it highly versatile in various applications. Dusty air can be extracted through integrated filters or external extraction systems.

Drive Unit Types

Our loading spouts can be equipped with two types of drive units: type S, and type F. Both types are available in ATEX and NON-ATEX versions.

Type S (Standard) Type S is suitable for situations without an integrated filter unit or when height is limited. With this type, an external filter connection is possible.

Type F (Filter) Type F is equipped with an integrated top filter for dust-free loading.

Modul’s Bellow options

The bellows of our loading sprouts are available in various designs, lengths and materials. For example, you can choose from:

• Single-walled or double-walled, with or without cups;
• Standard lengths up to 7 meters;
• Materials such as PVC, PU, Neoprene and more, depending on resistance requirements.

Undercarriage options

Depending on the loading situation, we offer various outlet options:

• Open Cone for open containers;
• Closing cone for bulk vehicles, preventing loss of product into the environment;
• Dust skirt for additional dust control, which can be added to either undercarriage and is also available in a demountable model.
  

Modul Loading Bellows sensors

To monitor the charging process, we at Veenstra Technologies offer several types of sensors. All sensors are available in ATEX and NON-ATEX versions. The available sensors are
